A new Soulslike is coming to PC and PlayStation. Salt and sacrifice is the sequel to 2016 Salt and Sanctuary. Like its predecessor, it takes place in a dark, brooding world animated by a 2D art style. Expect precise and challenging battles where you have to learn to read your enemies’ attacks. After choosing one of the eight classes, you will be tasked with hunting down over 20 mages. Each of them will allow you to create new items and abilities. Sacrifice seeks to take a look at the multiplayer aspects of its predecessor, adding multiplayer factions that players can join.
Developer Ska Studios expects to release Salt and sacrifice in the first quarter of 2022 for $ 20.
